What are the WE: Worship Encounters?
WE: Worship Encounters are our weekly Sunday morning services. We come together to experience God through powerful, uplifting praise and worship, dynamic preaching, passionate prayer, and fellowship. Our worship service lasts for approximately 90 minutes.
Is Dunamis Church a Christian church?
Though non-traditional in style and approach, Dunamis Church is deeply committed to the eternal and foundational truths of the Christian faith. Our vision is simple: to become a Spirit-led, biblical community of believers that accomplish Christ’s purposes in the world. Our mission is also simple: that all people be empowered to live, empowered to love, and empowered to lead.
What should I wear?
People who attend Dunamis tend to dress casually. However, it is not uncommon to see attire ranging from jeans and tennis shoes to suits and dresses. In essence, come comfortable.
Are there ministry opportunities for my child?
Yes. We have two environments: one for children and the one for teens. POWERKids is for students ages 3-11 and is held during all worship experiences. Our teen environment R.O.C. Nation convenes on Wednesday nights at 6:30. These opportunities are designed to introduce core Biblical concepts. Be assured that your child will have an awesome time in a safe, kid-friendly environment.
As a first-time visitor, is anything expected of me?
Yes and no. You will be handed a Connection Card to fill out so that we might maintain contact with you; as well as pray for and with you. Also, we expect you to have a wonderful, impactful experience with God. However, we’ll never force you to give money or do anything that would single you out.
